Marion Brown is a community choir leader, song sharer and singing & piano teacher based in Bradninch, Devon. She is passionate about sharing her love of singing and enabling people to find their voice and to enjoy singing together. She holds the fundamental belief that singing is part of what makes us human and should be open to everyone and that everyone can sing.
Since 2011, Marion has led Bradninch Festival Choir, a thriving, inclusive community choir that welcomes all. Having benefited from inspirational training in both choir leadership and helping uncertain singers, Marion has become known for her ability to build confidence and, in a 1:1 setting, to help even the most uncertain singers learn how to pitch-match and to enjoy singing with others. She leads singing workshops and singing retreat days & residential weekends and welcomes any opportunity to get people singing together! |
Passionate about the benefits of group singing to mental health and wellbeing, in 2022 Marion trained with the growing national Singing Mamas network and runs weekly groups in Broadclyst and Silverton, near Exeter, connecting women with each other, themselves & their little ones with song - and cake!
She also enjoys teaching the piano & music theory to all ages and loves working with adult beginners.
